"Breaking Down the Bars" - Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN)
Dr. Stephanie S. Covington appeared in the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) series Breaking Down the Bars, a 7 episode docu-reality show which follows female prisoners during their time at Rockville Correctional Facility in Indiana. As the episodes progress, there are more scenes of interventions, and the online web clips show specific interventions during the group process. You may also comment under the online web clips (see 2nd link) and let the network know what you think about the show. They do review the comments carefully.

Currently this TV show is not available for purchase on DVD, nor are full episodes available to view online. The Oprah Winfrey Network does rerun the episodes on a regular basis, you may check your local listings by visiting TV Guide’s Breaking Down the Bars webpage and/or Direct TV's Breaking Down the Bars webpage.

Women and Addiction Forum
Sponsored by Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Rob Portman (R-OH), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and held on July 22, 2014.
